Cookies Policy
SQUIB LLC · squibb.ai Last Updated: July 10, 2026 | Effective: July 10, 2026
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage (together, "cookies" where the context allows). This policy explains how Squibb uses cookies and storage across our sites — squibb.ai (marketing site), app.squibb.ai (the product), and affiliate.squibb.ai (affiliate portal) — why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@squibb.ai.
We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use analytics tools to understand how our sites and product are used, as described in Section 4.
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Required for sign-in, security, and core functionality. These cannot be switched off.
| Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Authentication | Maintains your signed-in session and protects against sign-in forgery during login (via our identity provider, WorkOS) | Session to up to ~13 months |
| Workspace | Remembers which workspace you're working in | Up to 1 year |
| Signup & checkout | Links a completed purchase to your new account during signup | Up to 24 hours |
| Calendar connections | Short-lived security tokens while connecting Google or Microsoft/Outlook Calendar | Minutes; deleted after connect |
2. Functional / Preference Storage
Remember your preferences and in-product state. Blocking these won't break the Service, but it will forget your settings.
| Category | Storage type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interface preferences | Cookie or local storage | Sidebar layout and light/dark theme | Up to 7 days (cookie) or until cleared (local storage) |
| Onboarding drafts | Local storage | Saves in-progress onboarding answers so you don't lose them | Until cleared |
| Search history | Local storage | Your recent searches in the product | Until cleared |
| In-product prompts | Local storage | Remembers which banners or prompts you've already dismissed | Until cleared |
3. Affiliate Attribution Cookies
Set only when you arrive through an affiliate or referral link (a URL containing ?via= or ?ref=). They attribute your visit to the referring partner so referrals can be credited and any referral discount applied at checkout.
| Category | Purpose | Duration | Scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Referral attribution | Stores the referral that brought you here | Up to 60 days | First-party, across .squibb.ai subdomains |
| Referral analytics | Anonymous visitor ID used to count unique referral clicks | Up to 1 year | Same cross-subdomain scope |
When a referral link is used, our servers also log the click (visitor ID, page, referring site, browser user-agent, and a hashed IP address) for attribution and fraud prevention; this log does not set additional cookies. Where consent for attribution cookies is required (including for EEA/UK visitors), they are set in accordance with your consent choices.
4. Analytics
We use analytics tools on the marketing site and in the product to measure usage and improve the Service. Where consent is required (including for EEA/UK visitors), non-essential analytics are loaded only after you accept them.
| Service | Purpose | Cookie / storage use |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Analytics | Privacy-oriented pageview measurement | Designed to work without cookies |
| Google Analytics | Website traffic and engagement measurement | May set first-party cookies to distinguish visits and sessions |
| PostHog | Product analytics, funnels, and session replay | May set first-party cookies or use local storage for session and identity |
These providers act as our service providers. We configure them for product and marketing analytics, not for cross-site behavioral advertising.
5. Third Parties You May Encounter During Specific Flows
The following services appear only when you take a specific action, and may set their own cookies on their own domains, governed by their own policies:
| Service | When | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Checkout and billing portal (hosted on Stripe's pages) | Payment processing |
| WorkOS | Sign-in / sign-up | Identity and authentication |
| Signing in with Google, or connecting Google Calendar | OAuth authorization | |
| Microsoft | Signing in with Microsoft, or connecting Outlook Calendar | OAuth authorization |
We do not embed payment scripts in our own pages; checkout happens on Stripe's hosted pages.
6. Your Choices
- Consent controls. Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies (including analytics cookies for EEA/UK visitors), our consent controls let you accept or decline them before they are set, and change your mind later via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and core functionality.
- No ad-tracking to opt out of. Because we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, there is currently nothing to opt out of under "Do Not Sell or Share" laws. If we ever introduce advertising cookies, we will update this policy first, obtain consent where required, and provide the legally required opt-outs (including honoring Global Privacy Control signals).
7. Changes
We keep this policy current as our use of cookies and storage changes; material updates will be reflected here with a new "Last Updated" date and, where required, fresh consent.
